WHAT IS BIOREMEDIATION?
Bioremediation is the process of breaking down or neutralising hazardous substances or contaminants using biological agents such as microbes and plants, in turn removing dangerous chemicals from the environment.

HOW DOES THAT DIFFER FROM SOMETHING THAT'S BIODEGRADABLE?
When something biodegrades it is simply broken down by biological agents into smaller compounds without being neutralised.

WHO OR WHAT IS OZZY®?
Ozzy® is the blend of non-pathogenic (harmless to humans) microbes we have selected for the SmartWasher® system. These "Ozzys" eat potentially harmful hydrocarbon waste in the SmartWasher® and transform these waste items into very small quantities of carbon dioxide and water. Similar types of microbes have been used for many years in various bioremediation applications, such as oil spills clean-ups.

CAN I SIMPLY ADD WATER TO THE SMARTWASHER TO ADJUST THE FLUID LEVEL?
No. Adding water to OzzyJuice® will dilute the fluid and impact its performance.

CAN OZZY® MICROBES BE DESTROYED?
Yes, by bleach and other biocides. Pesticides, rat poison, and other substances designed to kill living things will also harm the Ozzy® microbes.

HOW OFTEN SHOULD I CHANGE MY OZZYMAT®?
Once a month as a minimum. Failure to change the filter regularly will cause it to become clogged, leading to the build-up of sludge and damage to the machine.

HOW WELL DOES OZZYJUICE® CLEAN?
Extremely well! By breaking down the surface tension between the grease and the part, it lifts the grease off instead of dissolving it.

WILL OZZYJUICE® DAMAGE MY SKIN LIKE A SOLVENT WOULD?
No. It is a pH-neutral, non-caustic, no VOCs, water-based formula that will not dry, crack or irritate the skin.

CAN OZZYJUICE® BE USED IN OTHER PARTS WASHERS.
The OZZYJUICE®, OZZYMAT®, and the CRC SMARTWASHER® were made to work together as a system and will not work as effectively when used separately.

WILL THE CRC SMARTWASHER® OVERHEAT IF THE OZZYJUICE® GETS TOO LOW?
There's a warning light on the machine that alerts you when the fluid becomes too low. Depending on use it is recommended that you top up your OZZYJUICE® every few months to prevent low fluid and damage to your machine.

HOW OFTEN SHOULD THE OZZYJUICE® BE CHANGED?
Provided the OzzyMat® is being replaced every month, and regular maintenance is being carried out, the fluid should never need to be changed.
